Charlotte Becker
Charlotte Becker -Born 1907 in Dresden, Germany, came to
United States at age 5. Studied at the Art Student's League and the Cooper Union in New York.
Member of Society of illustrators. Painted for calendars, advertisements, magazine covers and
childerens books. works published by McCalls and Toronto Star Magazines. Wrote and illustrated
her own childern books. Portrays interesting subjects having a wide appeal. Noted for
incoporating baby milk bottles into her calendar art and the Baby Blue series. The best baby artist!
